Has anyone else received a letter from edp stating the electricity changes from the 1st of July 2012 ? it's basically stating that the baixa tensao of 10.35 kv and upwards is changing and that we can change supplier if we want to but it has to be done by the 1st and gives a list of 5 other companies selling electric however what they don't state is that the bihorario and trihorario is ending on that date.

I was just wondering if anyone has contacted the other suppliers for the prices etc

Did not get any letter or email from the EDP

Yes, the letter was with my April or May bill. I have bi-hora tariff and understand it will seize to exist per Jan. 1 2013. Haven't looked into the other providers yet. I trust that the P'gese newspapers and DECO will comment on them in due time?
